About Our Practice

At Reynolds Dental our patients come first.
We have friendly staff, a clean facility, and modern equipment.

Modern Equipment

Our office embraces the latest dental technology such as CEREC® same-day crowns and soft-tissue lasering to deliver excellent care with minimal pain and inconvenience.

Conservative Treatment

With careful oral hygiene some small cavities can be monitored for years without causing issues. Whenever practical, we favor monitoring over aggressive treatment--we never push unnecessary procedures.

Efficient

We understand that time is money, and your money is hard-earned. So we try hard to keep wait times short and avoid unnecessary procedures.

Patient focused

We don't just pretend -- we actually care about our patients. If the patient is not happy, neither are we.

Pain free

Extractions, drilling, and cleaning don't have to be painful. We use small-gauge needles, buffered local anesthetics, and slow injection speeds so you don't hurt.

Walk-ins welcome

We understand that dental emergencies happen, and we are here for you when they do.

Dr. Reynolds

Dr. Reynolds is a 4th generation native to Las Vegas. After obtaining his undergraduate degree at BYU and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton, he came back home to serve his community.

Dr. Reynolds treats kids, neighbors, friends, and international celebrities in his office alike--all will testify of his meticulous work and calm demeanor.

In addition to dentistry, Dr. Reynolds is married and has five children. While they tend to steal much of his home time, he loves to spend his free time reading and cycling.

Our Services

We provide everything from routine maintenance to porcelain crowns and advanced cosmetic dentristry with cutting-edge equipment for in-house, expedited services.

As part of a recommended yearly check-up, we provide in-house x-rays and analysis before teeth cleaning services.

Low radiation digital x-rays can diagnose hidden dental structures, malignant or benign masses, bone loss, abscesses, and cavities.

Using custom molds and professional strength bleaching gel or even one session laser bleaching, Dr. Reynolds can help you renew your teeth to their original shade of white.

For those whose stains are particularly severe, we provide in-house custom porcelain veneers and rebonding.

Dr. Reynolds is a skilled provider of Invisalign, an innovative product used to straighten crooked or crowded teeth, as well as fix overbites and gaps between the teeth.

The Invisalign system involves wearing clear, plastic trays that are custom-designed to fit your mouth, making a less-noticeable and effective alternative to metal braces.

Our modern CEREC tochnology utilizes CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) imaging to construct, produce, and insert individual ceramic restorations.

The whole crown procedure takes place in a single appointment, rather than over multiple appointments with labside work in between.

Bonding is among the easiest and least expensive of cosmetic dental procedures.

A special composite resin is shaped, colored, and polished to match the surrounding teeth. Most often, it is used for cosmetic purposes to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth, but it also can be used to fix gaps or worn teeth edges.

Chipped Teeth

With a little artistry, your chipped teeth can look as good as new.

<

Crowns

We use modern CEREC tochnology to construct, produce, and insert individual ceramic restorations in a single appointment.

<

Gaps

Cosmetic bonding is a quick and painless way to hide significant teeth gaps, but also is reversible if you change your mind.

<

Invasalign

Also known as "clear braces", Invisalign technology is convenient, comfortable, and virtually invisible.

<

Erosion

Energy drinks and improper gel bleaching can erode your teeth. Fortunately, bonding is an easy way to repair teeth such as these.

<

Cavities

If caught soon enough, cavities can be repaired easily to look as good as new.

<

Retained baby teeth

Retained baby teeth can often be restored to look like the permanent tooth should have.

<

Rebonding

Older bonding materials did not maintain their color over time. Newer bonding materials have better color stability and should continue to look great for years to come.

Whitening

We create a custom mouthpiece tray to exactly fit your teeth. This allows for maximum contact between the whitening gel and the teeth and minimizes the gel's contact with gum tissue.

Custom vaneers can hide dead or miscolored teeth.

FDA recommends Lidocaine not be used for teething

It's hard for parents to stand idly by when their baby has a sore mouth from teething. But using prescription medicines such as viscous lidocaine may harm rather than help, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration says. In fact, the FDA has issued a warning against using the gel-like prescription lidocaine 2% solution to treat infants and children while they're teething.

Xylitol does NOT prevent cavities

There is little evidence to support claims that a popular sweetener reduces the likelihood of cavities on its own, according to a new analysis of past research. There was some evidence that xylitol reduces the risk of cavities – or caries – among children, but people should be cautious about that finding because of limitations in the previous studies, researchers report in the Cochrane Library.

Laser Therapy Promotes Dentin Regeneration

Using a low-powered laser, scientists were able to coerce teeth stem cells to produce dentin, an important component of the teeth. This therapy could potentially lead to the ability for teeth to fill in their own cavities, negating the need for drillings and fillings in the future.

The Structure and Mechanism of Glucansucrase, the Tooth Decay Enzyme

Scientists in Denmark at the University of Groningen have determined the structure and mechanism of glucansucrase, the enzyme responsible for tooth decay.
